The songs in this book mirror that idea. Each one was chosen for its “sing-ability” and ease of accompaniment on guitar, or any other instrument of choice. Most of these are well known, although a few may have become obscured over time.
To make learning these songs as easy and straightforward as possible, we have eliminated the “lead sheet” approach of standard notation. You’ll find the chord letters over the lyrics, and guitar chord boxes for those who need help finding the fingering for ones that you may not know.
